Great staff and great food. I had the Ribeye steak and lobster on the side. Ribeye was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Lobster was cooked properly but was on the lower end of average. Jessica was a sweetheart. She never let my water get lower than half and her attitude and personality was amazing. I look forward to returning.

Chelsea is one of the best servers we’ve had at Carbone’s. Great experience great Service!! Chelsea you rock!! We are celebrating my fathers birthday and she was great taking care of all 18 of us!!! And Thank you Justine for accommodating all 18 of us on such short notice. We had a amazing time!!! The food and drinks are on point as usual!!

What has happened to Carbone's? Slow service, food is average, portions are small and prices are high. $27 for a pasta dish?? C' Mon Carbone's... The place is nice looking and I guess they have to pay for their palatial surroundings. But at least give me a decent meal. Good luck...

Been here several times in the past 2 months, enjoyed every experience! Bar area is comfortable, lit enough for me to see my food but still subdued, bar staff are vibrant and engaged in my dining experience! Will be back, there are so many more dishes to try! Special shout out to Christina and Victoria on Tuesday nights in the bar, you made me feel welcome, got to know my tastes and helped craft a delicious dining experience for me!

This might be the best thing I have eaten this year. Garlic butter toast ends, roasted crushed pistachio, honey, in a ricotta base. So good!

Good meal good atmosphere in the bar. Not what I expected from a menu perspective given the title of the restaurant being called prime. Great dishes in the mid $20 price range however. Waitress I'd give less stars to however. Will go back again.

Nice place Thursday nite was it very crowded waiter and food was great nice portions. There was a nice bar there but I didn’t go on that side. Very spacious place...

Very friendly place. We went 2xs on our quick weekend.Wish we could find a Carbones near our home to share this place with friends.Food was great but it was the people that make you feel like just hanging around longer. Soup of the minute was awesome (smoked chicken chowder) superlatives don't exist that can describe the flavor. Below is a pic of the entree (crispy pork belly) and side of risotto.

We love Carbone’s Prime in Rocky Hill- always great food with excellent service and an amazing staff!!! The only recommendation or change we would like to see is a flatscreen TV at the back bar above the refrigerator and cooler door. If it happens, this will be the perfect dining experience. Get to Carbone’s Prime, it’s so worth it!!!

Very nice decor, extensive wine and beer lists, to wonderful food. Upscale, Jean's are fine too. I gave 4 stars because it was very busy and we felt rushed.

Stopped in without a reservation and we were seated right away. Friendly staff, and a nice environment. The broccoli rabe / sausage pizza was amazing. My wife had ordered a margarita that did not hit the spot--the server quickly swapped it out for a sangria that was much better.

Each time we visited Carbone’s Prime the food never disappoints. From the appetizers to entrees and desserts we always enjoyed our experience here. Last time- Mike the Host made our impromptu dinner the most memorable visit yet with his warm greeting, impeccable customer service skills and attention to detail. He is a wonderful addition to your great team. Mike - Thank You!!!!

After a long week of plumbing and shenanigans, I said I need to treat myself. Looked over the menu, spotted the 8oz tenderloin steak....good lord. Out of all the fine steaks I've had over the years, this one was quiet impressive, texture superb. Hats off.

Don't waste your money

Stopped in for lunch a few Fridays ago which was my first experience at this restaurant - and it was an excellent one. Our server was very attentive and personable and his service was perfect. For lunch I had the prime burger cooked medium rare which was spot on. The fries and the rest of the set up were perfect as well. Then for dessert I had the creme brulee which they also nailed! My lunch partner had the scallops with risotto which he raved about. All in all a great experience. I will be back!

I cannot wait to go back here when things get back to normal.

Who does a time one-hour time limit on a two-hour happy hour? A racist young female manager, that’s whom. Or perhaps discriminates against people with physical disabilities, or perhaps both? The level of discourtesy and narcissism was unbelievable. The food is nothing special by the way and very OVERPRICED. Especially for the poor service.

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Sitting at the raw bar is great. Also fun for a small group setting (~20 people). Good times.

Good food & easy to get to.Enjoyed my pork chop quite a bit, but wasn't a fan of the fingerling potatoes (a case of attempting to add to much back worked against the rest of the flavors on the dish.). Otherwise, very good meal!The liquor selection for cocktails isn't very robust, but is passable. The beer selection seemed better.If in Hartford, I recommend stopping in.

Great atmosphere and location! Food is pretty good, but not for the price you pay. But overall a great experience!

Amazing! Wish I went sooner but now will definetly be going back. Went for lunch and had raw bar apps, salad, then pizza and pasta. The bread comes with butter in olive oil, so yummy! I wasnt completely impressed with the pizza but would try again. Everything was exceptional! Staff was friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere is beautiful. Theres an area in back for large parties. This is hands down one of my favorite italian restaurants.

Nice place and atmosphere but the food was not worth the price. I had the boneless 12oz ribeye and I was not happy with the amount of gristle I had to dig thru to actually get some steak. I should have tried the fillet I guess. Service was a little slow to start. Waited 10 minutes for someone to take a drink order after we were seated.

I haven't been here for dinner but did attend for brunch. Unfortunately we had a bad experience, not horrible just wasn't what we expected. Maybe by now they've fine tuned brunch I'll have to go by and check it out 👍

I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. The octopus was quite spicy, would have liked to not have it in the sauce when it came. The food was pretty good but the chef must be really into spices because even the steak sauce was spicy. It wasn't this way a few months ago. The waiter was also not very attentive. Might have to start to look for another place to get octopus.

Went for Happy Hour, they suggested a reservation since the tables fill quickly (although we were lucky enough to get a table on the spot). Wish the happy hour lasted a bit longer (5:30) but everything was delish and excellent prices.

I hosted my bridesmaid proposal dinner here today and my guests and I were blown away by the awesome service from Chelsea. As servers ourselves, it’s hard to find genuine people who are both polite and great at their job and we honestly haven’t seen it anywhere in a while aside from today of course. Super sweet, engaging and attentive. Will be back as long as she’s here!!! Also, the penne gustavo and tiramisu is a must if you’re in the area! Great food, people and prices.

We got filet mignon and chicken parm everything was fantastic and service was very good.

Reservations are a must! Great service and great food! Plenty of choices for any type of appetite, with generous portions. House Cabernet is Sterling which is a favorite of mine. All in all a great first experience and would definitely make a second or third trip back to try some of the other delicious dishes they have.

Excellent place! The atmosphere is lovely. Just quiet enough to really be able to have a good conversation with your dinner companions. The food was excellent from start to finish. We tried the short ribs, Bolognese, veal parmesan & all had wedge salads. Everything was fantastic. The butter that comes with the bread deserves it's own food group. Great drinks as well.

Had dinner last night for our anniversary. Terrible experience. Food tasted like it was microwaved. When we were asked how our dinner was we gave our feedback respectfully. A young woman arrived at our table afterward and was highly irritated at our displeasure with the meal. Sadly she handed us our bill and asked to never return. The waitstaff was fine. I will not only never return but advise my friends to not to as well.
